Specific dish recognition is, together with several dishes recognition, the third level of semantic recognition - level 3 out of 5. It provides dish recognition information from images where a single dish appears. This is a classification feature that takes into account the classification established on the first semantic level (food types detection).
The total number of dishes currently available for recognition are +800. They are either dishes that are internationally consumed or that belong to multiple local cuisines like Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, and many more.
